SonicWALL Mobile Connect™

SonicWALL® Mobile Connect™ unified client app for iOS, downloadable from the App StoreSM, lets Apple® iPad®, iPhone®, and iPod touch® users connect safely to work or school networks over encrypted SSL VPN connections to ensure confidentiality and data integrity for users outside the network perimeter.  Used in conjunction with SonicWALL Next-Generation Firewalls, it creates a Clean VPN™ that scans and cleans malware embedded in iOS traffic before it enters the network.  Additionally, SonicWALL Application Intelligence and Control lets IT define and control application and bandwidth usage.  When connecting over a wireless connection inside the network, Mobile Connect enforces WiFi security and control in adherence with organizational policies. Smart Access.

SonicWALL Aventail Smart Access offers transparent, dynamic deployment of the appropriate access method based on user identity, endpoint security or zone classification and resource desired. Users just simply have to enter an address into a browser and the SRA solution determines the optimal access method for them, whether they are coming in from a browser on a phone, or a Macintosh®- or Linux®-based device. Native Access Modules.

SonicWALL Aventail Native Access Modules™ provide native protocol access to server-based Citrix applications and Windows Terminal Services sessions over SSL VPN. Native Access Modules deliver access to server-based sessions without any additional configuration. Using a single portal link, remote users receive an easy, seamless experience while accessing all Citrix applications, including support for load-balance Citrix farms.

Unified Policy.

SonicWALL Aventail Unified Policy™ significantly reduces work for administrators by providing centralized administration with just a single rule set for all resources and access methods. This extensible object-based policy model consolidates control of all Web resources, file shares and client-server resources in a single location. This lets you quickly set policy with a single rule across all objects, so that policy management can take only minutes instead of the hours it takes with other VPNs. Unified Policy can populate groups dynamically based on RADIUS, ACE, LDAP, or Active Directory authentication repositories, including Nested Groups. One-Time Password (OTP) support provides a built-in method to generate and distribute secondary factors, for easy and cost-effective two-factor authentication.  SRAs offer robust authentication support for Single Sign-On (SSO) and forms-based Web applications. In addition, users can easily update their own passwords at any time without IT assistance.

Advanced Reporting.

SonicWALL Aventail Advanced Reporting™ provides powerful analysis of remote access to your resources. Advance Reporting is a robust hierarchical log analysis tool enables you to track and evaluate all remote user access to your enterprise resources over your SRA. Administrators can generate standard or custom reports and then grant access to those reports to specified recipients. Hosted off-appliance on Windows or Linux platforms and accessible through standard Web browsers on Windows, Linux, or Macintosh platform devices, Advanced Reporting is localization-ready for global enterprise reporting.

End Point Control (EPC).

SonicWALL Aventail End Point Control™ (EPC™) lets you enforce granular access control rules for Windows®, Windows Mobile, Macintosh® and Linux® endpoint environments. EPC conducts robust pre-authentication interrogation of remote endpoint devices to identify the device, as well as determining the integrity of the device leveraging end-point criteria like anti-virus updates. SonicWALL Recurring EPC performs endpoint scans at user login and at administrative defined intervals to ensure the ongoing integrity of any endpoint.

Clientless Remote Support and Remote PC Access.

Administrators can configure and license SonicWALL Virtual Assist easily via the administrative interface, creating a cost-effective alternative to traditional remote support and remote PC access tools. Virtual Assist pushes browser-based thin clients to technicians and customers to establish a session through the cloud via an SSL VPN product.

Spike License Pack.

The SonicWALL Aventail Spike License Pack is a temporary-capacity add-on license that allows customers to increase their remote user count immediately in the event of a disaster or other business disruption. This works like an insurance policy toward any future planned or unplanned eventuality when remote access traffic could spike from current user counts to hundreds or even thousands more users. It is ideal as part of a company's overall disaster recovery plan or for firms that experience seasonal spikes.

Centralized management and reporting.

SonicWALL's management and reporting solutions such as the SonicWALL Global Management System and SonicWALL Analyzer provide a comprehensive architecture for centrally creating and managing remote access policies, providing real-time monitoring, logging and analyzing remote access activity by user, and delivering intuitive reports.
